The Energiesparmesse fair in Wels, Austria, the World of Fireplaces fair at the exhibition center in Leipzig, Germany, and this year also our first entry to the second edition of the Heating Tech fair, the largest Polish heating systems fair, which takes place in Warsaw. These are the fairs at which LAC refractory castable shapes will not be missing in 2025.
We handed over a KNC/V line designed for solution annealing and artificial aging of aluminum alloys to the prominent manufacturer of fittings, products and systems for HV overhead electric lines and substations, the Polish company PLP Poland (Belos) S.A.
We would like to thank all the visitors of LAC booth at the 2024 edition of FAKUMA.
We handed over an electric carousel furnace for annealing molds (shells) of precision casting, complete with a gas post-combustion chamber for burning of released organic impurities, to the important manufacturer of jet engines in the Czech Republic, the company PBS Velká Bíteš.
We would like to inform you about technical modifications of M top loading ceramic kiln. For this furnace model, we carried out an overall innovation focused on adjusting partial properties and realizing production with the help of new mechanical equipment. In this innovation, we are also inspired by the suggestions of both business partners and our customers.
This year, you could also visit us in the spring months at the LAC stand during the KOK fairs in Wels, Austria, Progetto Fuoco in Verona, Italy, Energiesparmesse in Wels, Austria, and finally at the Instalacje fair in Poznań, Poland.
Since 2024, the company has been implementing a project entitled "Developing business opportunities for LAC in the international markets through individual participation in foreign fairs", which is financially supported by the European Union.

At the end of June, the construction of our new office in Židlochovice began. Completion and handover of the entire building is scheduled for February 2018.
Now we’re in 87th place.
During the financial crisis, companies adapted to customer requirements and began manufacturing efficient machines and facilities. Now, a job market crisis has replaced the financial crisis, and Czech companies are seeking ways to come to terms with the lack of workers.
Ing. Kučerka has been with LAC since the very beginning. He was even with us in the time when there wasn’t a LAC yet, just Ledl and Crhák—two friends and foundrymen who assembled their first furnace for ceramics at Kučerka’s suggestion. Their “lunar lander.” Their actual first furnace exploded in a few hours.
Our designers have improved upon our older SV line of chamber dryers. The new SV Mk. II stands out through its faster air circulation, which not only speeds up its arrival at maximum temperature, but also significantly improves the permeation of heat into the charge.
This leap year has brought a great leap for LAC. You see, on 29 February 2016, we manufactured our 13,000th furnace.
Export to Russia is falling, and this is affecting engineering the most. However, LAC, a manufacturer of industrial furnaces and dryers, is continuing to do business in Russia successfully. Nevertheless, this does bring considerable complications. More active cooperation with Poland, Great Britain, and Sweden is replacing the falling profits on the Russian market somewhat.
“We have brought new and innovative equipment with us to every trade fair so far. But this time we’ve taken a slightly different route. We wanted to show that even with our standard equipment, customers get a little something more. Something that makes their work easier. For this furnace, it’s a cylinder line that significantly reduces the demands of loading charges,” explains LAC director Zdeněk Vysloužil.
