For processing large and heavy charges within a protective atmosphere
This gastight shaft furnace is primarily used for heat treatment of large and heavy charges in a predefined protective atmosphere (argon, nitrogen, forming gas, etc.), where a crane must be used for loading the charge into the furnace. It boasts, above all, a low consumption of protective gas. We can also adapt SRC furnaces to nitriding furnaces at your request.
Benefits
- The placement of the heating along the walls ensures an even temperature distribution in the furnace’s internal operational space
- Low consumption of protective gas
- Space for placing a thermocouple inside the retort
- Defined operational space in the retort
- Forced protective atmosphere circulation
