The PTSMg electric tilting furnace is designed for melting magnesium and transferring it into a transport ladle or directly into a transport holding furnace. It is equipped with a protective atmosphere supply (a mixture of CO₂ and SF₆ gas ), which guarantees safe operation of the furnace.
