Innovation in the production of refractory castable shapes

Since 2023, the company has been implementing a project called “Innovation in the production of refractory castable shapes”, which is financially supported by the European Union under the Operational Program Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness.

The aim of the project is to maintain the stability of production and preserve the high quality of refractory castable shapes while replacing the standard raw materials with alternative raw materials. Newly developed refractory concrete mixtures from alternative raw materials are monitored using laboratory tests focused on basic mechanical-physical properties and thermal properties. The obtained properties of the samples are used for computer simulation of the quality of refractory cstable shapes.
