The PZB 5 refractory concrete material based on silicon carbide has high thermal conduction. These shaped blocks are fragile and are suitable for acidic environments. For long-term loads, we do not recommend temperatures over 1600 °C. For shorter periods, however, shapes from this material can handle up to 1800 °C.
