Low operating costs and minimal structural dimensions

We have designed the PTE Mk. II furnaces to save you money on operations and not take up any more space than needed. Thanks to their modern insulation material and their new system for affixing the heating spirals, we have been able to give them the smallest possible dimensions. We’ve placed the spirals in the grooves of refractory castable shapes, preventing them from overheating and protecting them from molten aluminium if the crucible should happen to crack.

The PTE Mk. II has won an award in the “Golden Medal” contest at the MSV 2012 engineering trade fair in the “Best Innovative Exhibit—Energy Efficient Product” category. And these truly are among the most effective and energy-efficient facilities on the market for holding aluminium. We have achieved this by reducing their power needs to a minimum and using a new insulation system.
