Newly delivered furnaces for heat treatment of automotive pistons

We have delivered a pair of furnaces for heat treatment of automotive pistons and truck pistons to a major customer in the automotive industry.

We have already designed and delivered a number of furnaces in several designs for the thermal process of hardening the graphite layer around the circumference of automotive pistons with a processing temperature of up to 250 °C. We have now put into use the SP 2500 furnace designed for robust truck pistons. It is an electric furnace divided into multiple heating zones with a chain conveyor and pallets for storing the charge. It also includes a cooling tunnel and a special manipulator for easy and quick transfer of pistons between the heating part of the furnace and the cooling tunnel.

The second furnace delivered is the PR 4800 type with a working temperature of up to 650 °C. This is also a continuous furnace and is designed for annealing steel pistons after friction welding. This furnace is equipped with gas heating and a belt conveyor along which the charge passes. The furnace has forced air circulation, a preheating chamber, a tempering chamber and a cooling chamber.

Both devices complement each other well in the technology of automotive piston production. A customer who decides to purchase a similar LAC device for his operation can benefit from our rich references in the supply of continuous furnaces for these processes, and at the same time use the partial services of one quality supplier, such as the supply of complete operational, inspection and technical documentation necessary for putting this equipment into operation, complete installation at the customer's premises including delivery, after-sales service and fast service.
