LAC announce the commissioning of a key section of its new refractory castable shapes production hall
LAC is proud to announce the commissioning of a key section of its new Refractory castable shapes production hall in Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou. The newly operational area includes a finished product warehouse and dispatch facilities, marking a significant step forward in enhancing LAC’s production and distribution capabilities.
Enhanced Storage and Distribution
The newly operational warehouse spans 3,500 m² and features:
-
High-capacity storage space in a rack arrangement with more than 3,000 pallet spaces, ensuring efficient organization and accessibility.
-
Modern facilities for employees, including office space for dispatch operations.
-
A sufficient number of loading ramps for trucks around the perimeter of the warehouse, enabling faster and more efficient product distribution.
This state-of-the-art facility allows LAC to better meet the growing demands of its customers for high-quality refractory castable shapes and faster delivery times.
A Commitment to Innovation and Growth
The commissioning of this new warehouse and dispatch facility is a major milestone for LAC, reflecting the company’s commitment to improving production efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction. This development underscores LAC’s dedication to innovation and its ability to adapt to the evolving needs of its customers. The hall is built with a sense of sustainability and energy savings - among other things, it is equipped with a grass roof, and the indoor climate is maintained by heat pumps and recuperation.
This project is part of LAC’s ongoing efforts to modernize its operations and maintain its position as a leader in the production of refractory castable shapes.
Future Expansion
While the warehouse and dispatch sections are now fully operational, the remaining part of the hall is still under development. This future section will include raw material storage, a mixing plant, production areas for shapes and blocks, new tunnel kilns for firing, mold storage, maintenance areas, and additional office space. The completion of these sections is planned for the coming years. In the meantime, LAC continues to fully utilize its existing production plant to meet customer demands.
