Pair of continuous furnaces for e-mobility solutions

We supplied two continuous furnaces intended for heat treatment of electric motor rotors to a manufacturer of drives and motors for electromobility.

The development of modern automotive technologies has been going hand in hand with the development of electromobility and especially the drive system of electric vehicles for several years. The process of heat treatment of individual parts of electric motors is also particularly important for these technologies. These are mainly stators and rotors, and a common requirement is the drying and curing of adhesives, coatings and insulating layers on these components. Through an integrator of automotive production lines, we have supplied a pair of SP 4600 and SP 3200 furnaces for the above thermal processes.

This type of production places particularly high demands on the supplied equipment. First, the charge is very substantial, so the furnace must be sufficiently robust, and it is also necessary to take into account that a similar charge may be magnetic or flammable gases may be released from it during the thermal process. At LAC, we are also very good at dealing with similar requirements - for the thermal processing of parts where flammable substances may be released, we have supplied a number of different and, above all, safe equipment. The supplied furnaces are part of the production line, so they are fully automated.
