Newly supplied condensation drying technology in the food industry
We have supplied a major manufacturer of transfer plastic packaging for the production of ham products "so-called casings" with technology for condensation drying of products in the composition of two dryers equipped with very powerful drying technology.
Dryers and ovens for the food industry are, with some exceptions, custom-designed equipment. A common requirement for them is, for example, the need to clean the internal operation, prevent dust and contamination of the processed raw materials, or a stainless steel construction. The customer's process requirement in this case is the drying of premium impregnated casing in the form of wrinkled caterpillars, intended for the production of sausages. The impregnating substance (applied to the casing) has added value in the form of color and aroma transfer to the resulting product; it is wet after being applied to the casing and must be thoroughly dried.
In the case of these two chamber dryers SV 12300/01, we have completely redesigned both the chamber itself with a two-way circulation function and the possibility of adjusting the direction of the internal atmosphere flow, as well as its closure system and the system for removing moisture removed from the batch. Since a large amount of moisture is removed during the drying process, the dryers are equipped with a very efficient low-temperature condensation drying technology with a maximum temperature of 35 °C.
The newly delivered dryers will allow the customer to more than double the capacity of casing production.
