Drying furnace in EN 1539 safety design delivered to a manufacturer of rotating electrical machines
We have delivered a bogie hearth drying furnace to the Czech production plant of one of the world's leading companies focused on the development, simulation, and testing of powertrain systems, mobility technologies, and aerospace and energy instrumentation.
SVK bogie hearth dryers and low-temperature furnaces are designed for the convenient loading of bulky and heavy charges. The charge is placed onto a bogie, which then enters the furnace. For the delivered SVK 6800 drying furnace, charge handling is particularly critical, as the customer uses the equipment for drying and curing insulating varnishes on electric motors and custom rotating electrical machines weighing up to 5 t.
The SVK 6800 drying furnace was supplied with safety equipment according to the EN 1539 industrial standard. This modified unit is suitable for drying charges containing solvent-based insulating varnishes. The furnace bogie is equipped with a steel tray to catch dripping impregnating coatings.
