Shaft furnace equipped with gas-tight retort
A shaft furnace equipped with a gas-tight retort is used primarily for heat treatment of large and heavy charges in a defined protective atmosphere (argon, nitrogen, forming gas), when you need to use a crane to place the charge into the furnace. Its advantage is primarily low consumption of protective gas.
The SRC 1000/65 type furnace supplied by us is used for heat treatment of metal parts in a protective atmosphere (the process of removing internal stress and the customer uses nitrogen in this case). It is characterized by an increased load-bearing capacity of the bottom of the gas-tight retort. The furnace is also equipped with circulation and forced circulation of the internal atmosphere, a vacuum pump for extracting the internal atmosphere and controlled forced overpressure cooling for defined cooling of the charge. The device is recessed in the floor, so the furnace lid is accessible for operation at floor level.
