Continuous ovens with stainless steel chain conveyor and very precise temperature distribution designed for heat treatment of particularly stressed engine parts
For a major integrator of automotive production lines, we have supplied several continuous ovens equipped with a chain conveyor with pallets. These ovens are designed for the curing process of polymer layers on axial pads (bearings) of automotive engines.
In the SP 2390/03 furnace, the charge is placed by a robot into trays attached to a conveyor and then passes through the furnace. Two temperature processes subsequently take place in the furnace - drying and curing. The charge is then cooled to the required output temperature.
The specifics of the furnace are the circulating insert and the outer shell made of stainless steel 17240, very precise distribution of the working temperature during the curing process of +/-5 °C and high-quality air filtration in both the working and cooling zones.
Similar continuous ovens with a chain conveyor and transport pallets can also be heated using gas burners. An example is the SPP 2900/03 oven, where heating and distribution of the internal atmosphere are provided by gas burners and powerful circulation fans.
