Ovens for curing potting compound in automotive parts and sensors

A common customer requirement is  to meet the required capacity, achieve the shortest possible rise time to temperature, meet the required temperature distribution directly on the parts and prevent the casting compound from being affected until it is hardened. This technology requires a smooth conveyor operation so that the casting compound level does not move until the technological process is completed. Therefore, everything is controlled by a frequency converter and the furnace has a chain conveyor with precise guidance. The parts are usually stored in an aluminum pallet for transportation through the furnace. In some cases, the passage of the parts through the furnace is ensured by a belt conveyor and the pallets are then placed directly on the wire conveyor belt.

We therefore chose a special conveyor guide, powerful circulation and a suitable distance of the parts from the circulating air outlet into the furnace. The circulation was uniform and therefore the casting compound was not affected.

It is a continuous curing oven with a heating and cooling zone with a chain conveyor and an automatic manipulator and a multi-zone heating system. The ovens are controlled by a programmable Simatic controller. 
The structural arrangement of the lines was designed to follow the previous and subsequent operations, it can be connected to an automatic pouring center. The result is precise and fast handling of the batch and excellent temperature distribution of +/- 5 °C.
