Furnaces for curing gap filler in automobile sensors
The customer’s requirement was to minimise run-up, achieve the required capacity and heat distribution directly by the parts and keep the gap filler from being influenced until it was cured (i.e. to prevent it from being shifted or influenced by the circulating air). This was resolved via special conveyor routing and a powerful circulation system. We used a suitable distance between the parts and the place where circulating air exited the furnace; the circulation was even and thus the gap filler was not influenced.
A continuous annealing furnace with heating and cooling zones that has a chain conveyor and an automatic manipulator. A multi-zone heating system. The furnaces are controlled by a Simatic programmable automated system.
How the lines are organised so they smoothly connect to the previous and next operations. Precise and fast manipulation of the charge with a temperature distribution of ± 5 °C
This technology requires smooth operation of the conveyor so the level of the gap filler does not change until the entire process is complete. Thus the furnaces are controlled by a frequency converter which includes a precisely routed chain conveyor.
