Chamber furnaces for preheating insert parts for pistons
The production of modern engine pistons with often requires the use of salt cores and inserts. For this production process, we have supplied a set of chamber furnaces with forced circulation of the internal atmosphere PP 40/65 suitable for preheating salt cores and inserts to a major manufacturer of pistons.
Since the parts and salt cores inserted in this way are processed individually and it is necessary to always ensure the same preheating temperature above 600 °C, we chose the solution of a set of small chamber furnaces PP 40/65 with atypical modifications. For this process, the furnaces are equipped with a modified stainless steel internal circulation insert and especially external elements that facilitate their operation and manipulation steps. The furnaces are very compact in terms of space, supplemented with handling wheels for the possibility of moving between production technologies, the switchboard with temperature regulators is integrated in the lower part under the furnace chamber, the circulation fan is located on the furnace ceiling and the doors are equipped with locks with a permanent magnet, when there is no need to use clamps or handles to open them. Furnaces equipped in this way can be easily operated with one hand and at the same time safely transfer the heated parts to the place of further use.
