Furnaces for curing composite components
This chamber dryer with forced air circulation is made for curing composite components. A composite is a multiple-element material with a foundation of resin hardened with carbon or glass fibres. These are very modern materials that are seeing ever-greater use in the automotive and aerospace industries and in the manufacturing of supplies for athletics, rocketry, skiing, cycling, and even playground slides. Composite laminate is perhaps the best-known composite. It is used for making automobile superstructures, for instance.
We have divided the chamber of the dryer into multiple heating zones to achieve even temperature distribution, which is often a requirement in this kind of heat treatment. We have also furnished the dryer with forced air circulation for better conduction of heat to the charge.
This is a facility that we can completely customise to your needs thanks to its simple modular construction. Thus, we can easily adjust not only its structural dimensions, but also its internal usable dimensions to reflect the nature of your charge.
During heat treatment of composites, potentially hazardous substances are sometimes produced; if needed, we also furnish these furnaces with a sensor for monitoring concentrations of explosive substances (METREX).
What’s great about this facility
