Annealing bogie-hearth furnace with precise temperature distribution
The most important thing for the customer was to achieve the best possible temperature distribution directly on the individual billets while maintaining the shortest possible rise time to working temperature. He required approximately 4 hours of rise time.
Based on this assignment, we then looked for both the optimal distribution of the charge in the furnace and the optimal air circulation. And we managed to achieve the ideal solution. We designed a VKNCP 12100/07 car chamber furnace with gas heating and forced air circulation, which is the ideal choice for the charge that the customer defined for us. The time it took for the furnace to reach the required temperature was approximately 4 hours thanks to the sophisticated air circulation system, and we also managed to meet the required temperature distribution in the charge of +/- 5 °C.
