Bogie-hearth furnace designed for artificial aging of aluminum pistons in large quantities
This SVKP 20000/03 bogie-hearth dryer, supplied to a major engine parts manufacturer in China, is designed for artificial aging of aluminum pistons.
The furnace is heated by a system of 3 gas burners located together with a fan unit on the furnace ceiling. This solution, thanks to the powerful forced circulation of the internal atmosphere, is characterized by a uniform temperature distribution of +- 3 °C. The furnace is equipped with four heating zones.
The charge is handled using charge baskets placed on the furnace car. The car is moved by an electric drive along a rail track. The furnace is characterized by a high heat treatment capacity, during one cycle it processes up to 24 charge baskets with a total weight of up to 9600 kg.
