Continuous dryer suitable for handling flat parts of photovoltaic panels
The technologies and production processes in the production of photovoltaic panels require handling flat glass. For this application, we have supplied several continuous dryers with a conveyor adapted for storing and transporting glass.
The photovoltaic panels are placed on the furnace chain conveyor. The charge rests on the conveyor on several rubber supports, the location of which can be changed. This solution allows for trouble-free loading by a robot and in the event of a change in the assortment, the supports can be rearranged.
The design of the dryer with fan units mounted on the ceiling allows maintaining different temperatures in each heating section and, by synchronizing with the conveyor operation, achieving the desired temperature profile on the batch. Due to the nature of the batch, which is always very low, the height of the internal space is also minimized. The heat transfer between the heating elements and the batch is then very intense and both of these facts contribute to reducing heat losses, and therefore the overall operating costs of the equipment.
