Line of two continuous ovens for vulcanization of insulating sheets

The line consists of two continuous furnaces and a conveyor, parts of the conveyor before and after the furnace are covered. The line is used for preheating sheet metal insulation semi-finished products and subsequent vulcanization of the rubber solution.

During drying, fumes are produced and are removed through an exhaust chimney. The kiln is therefore equipped with a METREX system for monitoring the concentration of explosive fumes; if a dangerous concentration level is reached, the exhaust fan power is increased and the amount of exhaust air is increased.

The sheets are transported on the line by a chain conveyor with carriers. The upper branch of the conveyor passes through the drying and vulcanization oven, the lower branch passes in the space below both ovens, where the conveyor drive is also located.

Continuous oven PS 1750/02

Max temperature: 200 °C
Working temperature: 120 - 150 °C
Internal dimensions of the oven (w x h x d): 1250 x 400 x 3500 mm
(furnace consists of 2 segments)
Required TZ cycle: gradual heating to 120 - 150°C, holding at temperature for 10 - 12 minutes (during the passage of the sheets through the furnace).
During drying, there is a requirement for a gradual increase in temperature, for this reason, preheated air to approximately 50°C is blown into the covered part of the conveyor in front of the oven (the amount of blown air is approximately 60 - 100 m3/hour).
The furnace is heated and regulated in two separate zones.

Continuous vulcanization oven PS 1750/03

Max temperature: 300 °C
Working temperature: 210 °C
Internal dimensions of the oven (w x h x d): 1250 x 400 x 3500 mm
(furnace consists of 2 segments)
Required TZ cycle: holding at a temperature of 210 °C for 10 - 12 minutes (time for the sheets to pass through the oven).
The furnace is divided into three separately heated and regulated zones, each zone has a separate exhaust chimney.
The part of the conveyor behind the oven is covered and a fan blows cold air into this space, which cools the sheets to a temperature of 50 - 80 °C.
