Continuous ovens and dryers for heat treatment of various interior and exterior automotive parts
For various processes (annealing, curing including applied adhesives) of heat treatment of interior and exterior plastic parts for automobiles in continuous production operation, continuous furnaces with chain or belt conveyors can be used. The type and design of the conveyor is always selected with regard to the nature of the charge, processing temperature and environmental cleanliness.
For example, for the annealing process of plastic parts, we have supplied this continuous furnace SP 4900/15. The furnace consists of one heating zone and one cooling zone. Heating and circulation of the furnace are ensured by fan units placed on the furnace ceiling, the furnace can be equipped with thermocouples or non-contact temperature sensors for monitoring the temperature of the charge.
The parts are placed on a wire belt or chain conveyor with pallets for transport through a continuous furnace of similar design and the handling of the charge can be manual or automatic (robot, manipulator). Processing temperatures in similar furnaces can be from 80 °C to 350 °C. It is possible to match the conveyor step with the heating of individual parts of the furnace, thereby achieving a gradual increase in temperature on the parts, thus maintaining the required temperature profile. If it is necessary to achieve a very low temperature of the processed charge at the outlet from the cooling conveyor, the device can be equipped with an air conditioning unit.
