Drying moisture from kaolin noodles
Equipment designed specifically for drying moisture from kaolin noodles, the equipment is connected to a kaolin processing line. It is a continuous dryer with three belt conveyors with a wire belt placed one above the other. Kaolin is dried with hot air with a temperature of up to 250 °C, which flows over the conveyor belts. Its heating is provided by one monoblock burner with a power of 2200 kW located in the combustion chamber where the flue gases are mixed with cold air to the required temperature. After passing through the dryer, the flue gases are discharged into the chimneys. This ensures low consumption of the equipment, because the flue gases are also used for moisture removal.
The equipment operates in a fully automatic mode, kaolin is dosed evenly onto the upper conveyor, on which it passes through the dryer in the forward direction. From it it falls onto the middle conveyor, which moves the kaolin in the opposite direction and finally the kaolin falls onto the lower conveyor. It passes through the dryer for the last time and before exiting, the kaolin is cooled by a stream of cold air. It is discharged from the dryer at its exit, where the dryer is connected to other machines in the line. There is a scraping conveyor under the dryer for the eventual fall of the kaolin over a wire belt. The equipment is capable of drying up to 4 tons of kaolin per hour.
