The heating segment as part of the pyrolysis furnace

A significant innovative company, which is engaged in the circular economy in the form of the development and production of the ERVOeco depolymerization technology (the main principle is the transformation of organic waste such as tires, sewage sludge or plastics into valuable and further usable outputs), approached us with a request to supply a heating segment of a pyrolysis furnace, which will be part of the depolymerization technology. During this process, valuable and further usable raw materials in the form of oil, gas and carbonaceous solid residue are extracted from the organic part of the waste.

The heating segment (chamber) K 3400/08 supplied by us is part of the pyrolysis furnace. The actual pyrolysis takes place in a horizontal cylinder with a length of approximately 3700 mm. The chamber is installed in the center of the pyrolysis cylinder and the length of the heating zone is 2000 mm. The chamber is designed as an 8-sided prism, heating elements are located around the entire inner circumference, the temperature is measured in the space between the cylinder and the furnace heating and the heating of the material during pyrolysis is indirect. The electrical components are located in a separate switchboard.
