Robust furnaces with forced cooling and protective atmosphere
We have supplied several PK 3000/10 chamber furnaces designed for the thermal process of soft annealing to a major pump manufacturer.
PK chamber furnaces are used mainly for hardening, annealing and preheating of metal charges in an oxidizing atmosphere. We have also supplemented the PK 300/10 furnaces with a water-cooled circulation fan for forced circulation of the internal atmosphere, controlled forced cooling for defined cooling of the charge and a supply of protective atmosphere. The charge can therefore be processed in a protective atmosphere and thus protected from oxidation.
Operation of the furnace and manipulation of the charge placed in the charge baskets are enabled by automatically controlled doors and refractory concrete platforms at the bottom of the furnace working area.
