Robust ovens with chain conveyor suitable for heavy duty truck brake pads
We have manufactured several continuous ovens with a chain conveyor for the curing process of binders and adhesives on vehicle brake plates.
One of these furnaces is the continuous furnace SP 6900. This continuous furnace consists of three heating zones, each with an independent fan, heating and control loop and one cooling zone. Heating and circulation of the furnace are ensured by fan units placed on the furnace ceiling, the furnace can be equipped with thermocouples or non-contact temperature sensors for monitoring the temperature of the charge.
The furnace has a specially designed conveyor where individual brake plates are placed in pockets that slide through the furnace. One row on the conveyor can hold 16 brake plates.
For the process of further curing binders and adhesives on vehicle brake pads, we have also manufactured several continuous ovens with a wire belt conveyor. This smaller type of continuous oven SP 180 is also equipped with three-zone temperature control with forced air circulation and is fully integrated into the production line. It is used for short-term heating of the charge to a temperature of 270 °C.
