High-temperature bottom-loading furnace for firing technical ceramic parts in the defense industry
We designed and supplied the VP 1000/17 furnace for firing parts made of technical ceramics.
The furnace is designed with a bottom loading, the bottom of the furnace is lifted by an electric motor with a gearbox with smooth operation and without vibrations. Heating is provided from four sides of the working chamber of the furnace by MoSi2 Kanthal Super heating elements. A total of 24 pcs. of heating elements are used. The furnace chamber is constructed in two layers and the gap between the layers is ventilated by fans. This solution effectively reduces the surface temperature of the furnace below 80 °C.
The furnace is measured and controlled using a double thermocouple made of platinum-rhodium alloy (type B).
