Metal heat treatment furnaces - annealing of gray iron castings
Carriage chamber furnaces for annealing grey iron castings can be electric (up to 1280 °C) or gas (up to 1400 °C). Furnaces with operating temperatures up to 850 °C also have forced air circulation to ensure heat transfer to the charge. The furnace design can be either chamber or carriage chamber, with the choice of type usually determined by the method of handling the charge. Thanks to their robust design, the furnaces are ideal for heavy-duty operations.
Specifically, we designed the VKTP 20000/11 furnace as a gas furnace with recuperation for heating semi-finished products, which significantly saves its owner operating costs. Thanks to the placement of the burners, we achieved excellent uniform temperature distribution in the working area of the furnace. An indisputable advantage of the device was also simple operation through the touch panel and programmable PLC.
We have also supplied similar equipment for annealing parts of railway and other rolling stock chassis or for annealing radiator and heating components. These include, for example, the VKTP 20000/11, VKT 18400/09 and VKTP 35000/11 car chamber furnaces.
