Bogie-hearth furnace with forced circulation of the internal atmosphere for heat treatment of weldments and welded joints of steel on railway vehicle chassis
For the needs of heat treatment of weldments and welded steel joints on railway vehicle chassis, we have supplied a VKNC 47800/85 car chamber furnace, with which the charge is placed on the car by a crane, which is then driven into the furnace. This is a suitable method of handling in the case of bulky and heavy charges. The furnace is suitable for heavy operations due to its robustness.
The doors are opened electrically upwards, the furnace is equipped with an electrically driven carriage and the tracks are recessed into the floor. The door closing mechanism ensures their excellent sealing, which in combination with high-quality insulation materials brings savings in the operating costs of the furnace. Uniform temperature distribution is ensured by forced circulation of the internal atmosphere and the furnace is equipped with a forced cooling system below 200 °C. The entire heat treatment process can be easily controlled thanks to a programmable PID controller. The furnace is also equipped with a remote management system, where current data, operating states, as well as records of thermal processes can be easily processed on any computer accessible through a network environment. Thanks to remote access, our technicians also have the opportunity to easily evaluate operating states and at the same time provide any possible service services.
The furnace is equipped with a chimney with a mechanically controlled damper for the possibility of changing the exhaust of hot air into the hall or out.
